For more information about Draper, visit .Job Description Summary:A Mixed-Signal Electronic Design Engineer designs, develops, tests, and oversees the manufacturing of electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs), analog and digital circuits, electronic equipment, sensors, motors, radar and navigation systems. In addition, the Mixed-Signal Electronic Design Engineer develops the architecture, designs circuit's, performs simulations, performs physical layout, verifies and tests designs. Performs a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment.The Tailored Systems Business Area within Electronics Program Office directorate delivers first-of-a-kind field-ready microelectronics solutions in support of National Security missions. Master's degree preferred.Experience3-5 years experience in electrical engineering or related field.Additional Job Description:Technical capability with strong electrical engineering fundamentalsExperience leading teams of engineers as well as a background in developing new products/businessExperience in all of the following areas of electronic design: miniature low power embedded systems, sensor integration, wireless communication interfaces, battery conditioning and maintenance.Basic experience with microcontroller software (using C/C++/or assembly), and FPGA firmware (VHDL or Verilog). Ability to develop code for bring-up tests or simple demos.Familiarity with signal and power integrity analysis tools (Hyperlinx, Ansys).Experience with miniature electronic packaging and design using bare die or chip-scale packages. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
