Fabrication Supervisor - Night ShiftThe Fabrication Supervisor oversees the fabrication shop. Responsible for hourly workers' development, time approval, and productivity. Ensures assigned deliverables are completed per project schedules. Focused on improving safety standards, completing work within budget, and maintaining the highest quality standards possible.Principle Responsibilities and Duties:Work with Fabrication Coordinators to ensure that all deliverables are executed per the scheduleReport any schedule deviations to Senior Supervisor, Project Managers, and Scheduling DepartmentSend inspection notifications following the ITP/JQREnsure the Senior Supervisor authorizes overtimeAccountable for hours and durations of assigned projects as well as the accuracy of the team's billable hours/KRONOS approvalsAccountable for the quality of work performed by assigned employeesResponsible for calibration & maintenance of tools and equipment in the assigned areaEnsure the team's participation in the Safety ProgramConduct morning toolbox meeting, use your teams Performance Boards daily (keep employees updated with actual hours & % complete)Influence the development and implementation of process improvements and/or training needed for team membersAccountable for housekeeping and "5S" of the assigned areaPerform other duties as requiredQualifications:High School Diploma/GED requiredTwo-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desiredMinimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experienceBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusKnowledge of ASME codes a plusMust have knowledge of fabricating pipe spools and fabricating vesselsMust be able to read and interpret and work from engineering drawingsProficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and emailEffective verbal, written and presentation skillsDemonstrable ability to lead and facilitate instructions to othersApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements:Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
