Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising staff
• Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapies
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for clients
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey certified home health aide (CHHA) certification required
• Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes in the Ocean County, NJ area
• Must pass background check and meet all state compliance requirements
