Operating Room Registered Nurse

Job Title Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Assignment – Anchorage, Alaska (Travel) Job Summary MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR for a 13‑week assignment starting 08/10/2026. This role will involve 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts in an Acute Care Surgery operating room setting. Duties & Responsibilities Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse as assigned. Assist with pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative patient management. Maintain sterile field and instrument handling during procedures. Qualifications Minimum 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting. Active RN license in the state of Alaska. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS and ACLS certifications. Additional client‑specified requirements will be clarified by the facility.
