What You Will Do:

• Deliver exceptional patient care by accurately reviewing, filling, verifying, and dispensing prescriptions while maintaining the highest standards for patient safety.
• Provide clear medication counseling, drug information, immunization support, and guidance on drug interactions so patients can make informed healthcare decisions.
• Lead daily pharmacy operations by helping manage workflow, prescription resolution, reimbursement processes, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Support and coach pharmacy associates through training, work direction, problem solving, and a respectful, inclusive team environment.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with HIPAA requirements, company standards, and applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Use strong visual acuity and attention to detail to complete prescription verification, compounding activities when applicable, and quality checks with confidence.

Required Qualifications:

• You hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree, or equivalent pharmacy education and are eligible to practice as a pharmacist in Virginia.
• You bring current pharmacist licensure and the clinical judgment needed to protect patient safety in a busy community pharmacy setting.
• You are immunization certified or able to obtain certification and are comfortable providing accessible preventive care to patients.
• You communicate with empathy and professionalism when counseling patients, collaborating with prescribers, and supporting pharmacy teammates.
• You can balance pharmacy operations, prescription dispensing accuracy, and patient service while remaining organized under changing priorities.

Preferred Strengths:

• Experience in clinical pharmacy operations, retail pharmacy, grocery pharmacy, or community pharmacy will help you quickly make an impact.
• Leadership experience, including training associates and resolving customer or workflow concerns, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers an annual salary of $100,000 to $124,000, along with health, dental, vision, life, short term disability, and wellness benefits. You will also have access to a 401(k), Health Savings Account, medical flexible spending account, flexible schedules, vacation leave, holiday pay, paid time off, and paid parental leave.
