In the role of Radiology Technologist, you will conduct diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, which include interpreting results, performing EKGs, executing phlebotomy, inserting IVs, facilitating autologous and therapeutic donations, and measuring vital signs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop radiographic films and assess them for technical quality. Transport patients to the radiographic room as necessary and prepare the room for procedures.
• Ensure work areas are tidy and organized. Report any unsafe conditions and maintain X-ray and other equipment in optimal working condition, performing regular preventative maintenance.
• Gather patient histories, respond to inquiries, and explain procedures. Measure vital signs as required and complete necessary documentation. Prepare written records such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. Access, manipulate, store, and create CDs from PACS.
• Conduct radiographic examinations and may assist a licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures. Perform non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures as permitted by state regulations.
• Order and request supplies to ensure materials are readily available. Monitor drug supplies and notify the appropriate personnel regarding restocking needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) certification and a valid license in the State of Maryland.
• An associate degree is preferred.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD $29.73 - USD $53.49 per hour.
