We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include: Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes) Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included) Sterilization process (sterrad and steam) High-Level Disinfection (HLD)/ Scope experience Sterile Storage OR Liaison experience Censitrac Tracking system experience CRCST or CSPDT requiredEXPERIENCE PREFERRED: CORE TECH, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR LIAISONOSU is a Level One trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires experienced Travelers who have worked in a facility similar to OSU. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel. All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team.

Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location. RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
