OR Surgical TechJob Type: Temporary Contract Length In Weeks: 12 Start Date: ASAP 40 hours per week, 0730-1800 Weekend call per month: One (1) weekend 24 hours of first call, 0700-0700 12 hours of second call, 0700-1900 Call during the week: Three (3) first call, 2100-0630 Three (3) second call, 1700-2100 Evening positions are not scheduled Assists in operations under the supervision of physicians, registered nurses and other surgical personnel. Responsible for creating and maintaining the sterile field. Prepares the operating room by collecting needed supplies and equipment, passes instruments and other supplies to surgeons. Functions within the sterile field. Provides high quality care to the following surgical patient populations: Patient of any age undergoing surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General, Orthopedics to include Spine, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology, and Vascular.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
