Manufacturing Technician II

Hello, The Fountain Group. is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL, 60064. Details of the position are as follows: Job Description: Pay is $24-25hr to start!! Based on experience. 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget. Shift Options: Sunday – Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Wednesday – Saturday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Use sophisticated programs (such as LIMS, SAP, automated control systems) to collect and evaluate operating data and make online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Assist with cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including glass washers, autoclaves, and other aseptic processing tools. Support buffer/media preparation, column chromatography, and tangential flow filtration operations. Handle in-process and raw material sampling and ensure compliance with GMP and GDP guidelines. Maintain and monitor production areas, equipment, and surrounding environments, ensuring proper function of refrigerators, freezers, and incubation rooms. Qualifications: High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biologics manufacturing Required. OR Associate degree from an accredited two-year program with relevant work experience. OR Bachelor's degree in Natural Science, Cell Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with GMP practices, aseptic techniques, and clean room operations is a Plus. Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with automated manufacturing systems. Ability to follow SOPs and regulatory compliance standards. Experience with buffer/media preparation and equipment preparation (CIP/SIP) preferred but training is available for the right candidate.
