IT Security Engineer

To support the company's Information Security initiatives, the full-time remote IT Security Engineer will apply IT security principles and AI-powered tools to protect IT resources, enhance threat detection, and manage incident responses. Key responsibilities Maintain configurations for IT security technologies and collaborate on network infrastructure modifications Develop and document security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Conduct security assessments and lead vulnerability management efforts, utilizing AI tools for threat detection Required qualifications High school diploma or GED; BS in Information Technology or equivalent technical discipline preferred Three to five years of direct Cyber Engineer or information assurance experience Strong experience with vulnerability assessment tools and AI-powered security platforms Experience with network security, firewall configurations, and policy documentation Practical experience using AI/ML-powered security tools for threat detection and automated response Virtual Vocations Inc
