Qualifications
• Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in business analysis within financial services or technology domains.
• Capital Markets Expertise:
• Experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets with exposure to regulatory frameworks such as CCAR reporting, Basel,
or similar compliance projects.
• Product Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of banking products such as Mortgages, Deposits, Trading, Securities, Debt, Derivatives, Margin,
Collateral Management, Capital planning, RWA, and liquidity reporting
• nalyze and interpret balance sheet components and provide actionable insights.
• Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project).
• dvanced SQL query skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• ct as a bridge between business users and technology teams to define system scope and objectives for complex projects.
• Capital Markets Expertise:
• Experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets with exposure to regulatory frameworks such as CCAR reporting, Basel, or similar compliance projects.
• Product Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of banking products such as Mortgages, Deposits, Trading, Securities, Debt, Derivatives, Margin, and Collateral Management.
• nalyze and interpret balance sheet components and provide actionable insights.
• Consult with users and clients to resolve complex system issues through in-depth evaluation of business processes and industry standards.
• Support system changes management processes from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Define problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for projects.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of technology solutions.
• Provid e guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, act as SME for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and internal policies while maintaining transparency in risk management.
• Collaborate with UAT teams on test strategy, scenario preparation, defect triaging, and coordination.
• Exposure to various SDLC methodologies and ability to adapt to different project environments.
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth transition of deliverables.
