Corporate amp Securities Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Houston, TX. The associate will work collaboratively within a dynamic, multi-office team representing public company clients and others. Duties Advise on 1933 Act equity and debt securities offerings. Handle 1934 Act matters, including proxy statements and periodic reporting. Prepare and review Forms 8‑K, 10‑K, and 10‑Q, and Section 16 reports. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of corporate & securities experience in a large regional or national law firm. Excellent academic credentials. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction or ability to become licensed promptly. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in legal research and writing. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
