This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist/ CNC Operator located in Hampstead, NH. The Machinist/ CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Daily tasks include reading blueprints and technical drawings, programming CNC machinery, inspecting parts for quality, making adjustments to maintain tolerances, and performing regular machine maintenance. The role may also involve collaboration with engineering and production teams to improve processes and ensure efficient workflow.
- Experience with setting up and operating CNC machines and manual machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for inspecting parts and maintaining tolerances
- Understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience with using measurement and inspection tools, such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred
