As one of the top ABA services providers in the United States and a certified Great Place to Work, our commitment and dedication continue to drive our exceptional care.The Behavior Interventionist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist families seeking support with Autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing behavioral health treatment in-home, at a support center or in a community. This position is responsible for making meaningful change in the Client and families' life.What we offer:Competitive compensationPay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour+ $2/hour for weekend shifts+ $5/hour for company-observed holidaysAn additional $1.00 will be offered for Spanish bilingual candidatesCandidates with a completed BA or BS will be offered an additional $1.00 per hourMonday-Friday between the hours of 2:00pm – 7:30pmCities targeting: Santa Barbara, Goleta, and CarpinteriaWe aim to match you with clients near your home, and we offer mileage reimbursement going from session to session or if your first client is over 20 miles awayStudent loan repayment assistance for eligible rolesBonus program(s) for eligible rolesCareer development and advancement opportunitiesFlexible schedulingGreat and fun company cultureExpansive health, vision, and dental plans for our full-time partners401(K) retirement savings programMileage and phone reimbursementAnd so much more!Role responsibilities:Provide 1:1 care directly with clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.Collect data related to client's progress during treatment sessions.Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.Promote client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.Consulting with case supervisor on treatment plans, client updates, and intervention strategies.Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements.Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.Ensuring that the company's "zero tolerance policy" is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.Providing make up hours as an alternate care team member.Maintaining eligible transportation and current liability insurance (if applicable).Must haves:High School Diploma or GED (minimum)Spanish bilingual requiredReliable transportationSuccessfully complete Live Scan background check, employment verification, and TB screeningBe able to lift up to 30lbs.
