Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Bakery Chef to join our team in Daytona, FL. The Bakery Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking baked goods according to recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry-making.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Skill with baking equipment like ovens and mixers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills for scaling recipes.
- Artistic skills for decoration and presentation.
- Prepare, heat and bake daily menu items and other baked goods according to daily attendance records; prepare and combine necessary ingredients.
- Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery or food service setting.
