Position Overview We are looking for FX strategists to join our proprietary trading firm. You will develop and execute currency strategies using firm capital, combining macro analysis, technical setups, and disciplined risk management to capture opportunities across major and emerging market pairs. Location: Houston, TX Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Experience Level: 2+ years trading or managing investments Key Responsibilities Trade major and cross currency pairs across the London, New York, and Asian sessions Build a macro‑aware market view using rate differentials, growth data, and risk sentiment Use technical levels and price‑action confirmation to time precise entries and exits Maintain strict position sizing and leverage discipline appropriate to FX volatility Track and review every trade with attention to expectancy, win rate, and slippage Engage with peer traders to stress‑test theses and refine market views Required Qualifications 2+ years of options, equity, forex, or crypto trading experience Understanding of leverage, margin, and risk control across asset classes Demonstrated ability to follow a trading plan and avoid emotional decisions Strong desire to develop into a consistent, capital‑efficient trader Stable trading environment — hardware, internet, and quiet workspace Experience with broker APIs, scripting, or quant tools is helpful but optional Position Details Independent contractor (1099) role with results‑only compensation Profit splits range from 60% to 90% based on your performance tier Begin with up to $50,000 in firm capital, with structured scaling to $500,000+ Remote‑first by design — you control your environment and your schedule Bi‑monthly capital reviews provide a transparent path to higher allocations Further details on benefits and advancement covered during interviews Our Work Culture We value autonomy, accountability, and results.
