Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Manages, directs, and coordinates Human Resources policies and programs including labor relations, wage & salary administration, orientation & training, safety & health, benefits & employee services, compliance, and more. Oversees recruitment, development, and retention of employees and applies knowledge of EEO laws and general human resources concepts. What You’ll Do The following responsibilities are performed by the HRBP: Implements and oversees ongoing Human Resources programs, policies, and procedures to foster development in the location’s overall management, supervisory engagement, and employee relations. Acts as an employee advocate to improve the relationship between employees and management, championing the company culture and ensuring alignment to the company way. Supervises Human Resources staff directly or through supervisors, plans, assigns, and reviews assignments, coaches and mentors staff, evaluates job performance, and approves or recommends actions. Partners with the business to identify current and future skills needed to effectively run the business and leads succession planning to drive the talent plan for the business. Drives regular communication and collaboration with employees and leadership. Drives successful administrative, management, and hourly production employee retention. Uses knowledge, experience, and continuous assessment of facility dynamics to determine training and educational needs and deploys proactive solutions. Owns the compliant execution of the location’s affirmative action plan to achieve AAP goals during the entire employment process for all employees at the facility. Acts as the primary decision‑maker for situations involving policy or contract interpretation, developing and implementing innovative solutions to employee and labor relations issues to mitigate legal or compliance‑related risks. Maintains a positive labor/employee relations environment, counseling managers and employees on HR policies and rules, identifying and resolving problems, and having a presence in the manufacturing work environment. Performs data analysis and prepares statistical and narrative reports for use in identifying business opportunities and formulating goals and objectives based on results and trends. Utilizes data to construct a sound business case and influence others to champion change. What We’re Seeking Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in team management, development, or project leadership. General knowledge of employment laws and practices. Knowledge of HR systems, internet software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and payroll database software. Specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation, and other programs. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred). Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong reasoning and math skills. Capacity to travel 5–10% of the time. Ability to work well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Respectful, approachable, and team‑oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Other Skills That Make You Stand Out Bi‑lingual skills, including speaking, reading, writing, addressing groups and individuals, conducting investigations, counseling, training, mentoring, and using a language other than English (preferred). Physical Demands & Work Environment Sits for extended periods of time. Lifts up to 15 pounds at times. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Needs close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision. Capable of traveling as needed.
