Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in downtown Columbus. In this role, you will handle a combination of inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with past-due accounts while providing exceptional customer service. This is not a hard collections role -the focus is on educating customers, resolving account concerns, and helping them find payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls regarding account balances and payment inquiries.
• Make outbound courtesy calls to customers regarding past-due accounts.
• Assist customers with resolving account issues and establishing payment arrangements.
• Accurately document customer interactions in the system.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and empathetic approach on every call.
• Research account information to provide accurate resolutions.
• Meet individual and team performance goals for call quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service, call center, collections, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
