THE OPPORTUNITY

MAGELLAN Investment Holdings Limited is seeking a highly organized, detailed and efficientBookkeeper to provide support to our Director of Finance and Operations. This position is vitalin ensuring the smooth running of the Office of Finance and Operations and its day-to-dayactivities while maximizing its efficiency and productivity. This is a fast-paced role that requiresexceptional organizational skills, discretion, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be anorganized, detail-orientated individual with excellent communication and multitasking abilities.The highest standards of discretion, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism are essentialconditions of employment.

REPORTING

The successful candidate will work in close coordination with the Director of Finance and Operations and will report to the Executive Vice President.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Record and categorize bank and credit-card transactions Reconcile bank, credit-card, loan, and other balance-sheet accounts Prepare and post recurring, adjusting, and correcting journal entries Maintain records and generate appropriate reports Review payroll reports and record payroll-related journal entries Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable balances Review Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balances, and GeneralLedgers for accuracy Identify and correct discrepancies, duplicate transactions, and unreconciled balances Check and review a variety of data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance toestablished standards and procedures Maintain supporting documentation and organized electronic work papers Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare accurate financial statements for management and tax-return preparation Communicate progress, outstanding items, and completion status to management

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or a related field 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basicaccounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication andorganizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Magellan Investment Holdings Limited
