Slip Sheet Forklift Truck Driver
Abacus Staffing is seeking an experienced Slip Sheet Forklift Truck Driver to join our client's team in Pooler, GA. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. If you're looking to build a stable career with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating a slip-sheet forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stage palletized and slip-sheeted products within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Loading and unloading trailers while ensuring product integrity and accurate placement.
- Transporting materials to designated storage and shipping locations according to warehouse procedures.
- Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance issues to ensure safe operation.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy by scanning products and following warehouse management system (WMS) procedures.
- Following OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assisting with order picking, replenishment, and shipping/receiving as needed.
- Working efficiently to meet daily productivity and quality goals while maintaining accuracy.
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to support warehouse operations and on-time customer deliveries.
