Temporary Full Time Non Exempt Off Cedar Rapids, IA, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1280 The Engineering Intern provides support for production related issues including blueprint drawing updates, design fit issues, tooling updates and CAD modeling of design updates. Key Responsibilities

RESULTS | 50%

Critical Support production in the manufacturing of products. Day to day issues and clarifications. Evaluate design alternatives from suppliers. Troubleshoot issues and propose alternatives Execute engineering change process. Support sales/service in product upgrades or customer requests. CAD modeling of design changes. SolidWork with PDM for CAD vaulting. Manufacturing environment requiring hands on investigations and proposed solutions. Productivity / Job Knowledge Implement multiple manufacturing change requests. Number will be determined based on complexity. Assist in model layout updates in vault. Assist with completion of multiple Engineering Changes. Demonstrates a good attendance record; is aware of the impact that missing work will have on the customer as well as co-workers. Completes goals/projects on time or ahead of schedule. Responds to work assignments and requests by being cooperative and available. Follows through and meets commitments. Available as a resource to subordinates and/or peers. Requirements Qualifications and Essential Skills: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
