Weekends/holidays required. Day/evening shifts with overnights as needed. Pharmacy Department highlights: Team based environment Workplace culture 2nd to none Great benefits/ 401k / PTO We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance Highly engaged Pharmacy managementQualificationsEducation High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience 1 year of inpatient experience preferred Licenses and Certifications RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required And Other IV Certification Upon Hire Preferred What You Will Do Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel. Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. Other duties as assigned.
