Community Engagement Coordinator

Clyx was one of the first platforms built to support community, from run clubs and women’s collectives to networking groups and the many communities creating meaningful in-person connection. The groups we work with have been featured in Time Out NYC and partnered with brands including Free People, Nike, New Balance, White Claw, and many more. Clyx is a leader in this space, and community is at the core of everything we do. As in-person connection becomes more important than ever, the Clyx Community Team works closely with these groups to help them grow, connect with their audiences, and become part of the next big movement in cities around the world. How You Will Make a Difference Here This role sits at the center of our organization. As a Community Partnerships Representative, you will be responsible for finding, building, and nurturing relationships with community leaders across a range of categories, including comedy, women’s groups, run clubs, wellness groups, and more. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, balancing proactive outreach with thoughtful follow-through, and have real ownership over how we find and build relationships with the communities that matter most to us. This role helps shape how Clyx engages and communicates with its wider community network. We want you to share regular insight on what is and isn't working and help influence our approach over time. What You’ll do Relationship Onboarding & Coordination Research and contact event leaders across wellness, culture, creative industries, professional networking, and more. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective community partnerships. Manage early-stage community relationships from first contact through onboarding. Ensure new communities feel welcomed and set up for a positive experience from the start. Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships over time and improve how communities experience Clyx. Serve as a guide and resource for communities, helping them understand and access the services and support available to them. This includes directing communities to the appropriate internal teams, supporting group onboarding to the Clyx app, and serving as a sounding board for community ideas, events, and growth opportunities. Attend community events as a Clyx representative, with in-person attendance on an ad hoc basis, subject to availability. Who you are... A natural relationship-builder who can earn trust quickly and communicate with warmth and authenticity. Comfortable learning and navigating new technology to confidently guide clients through the platform, while effectively working within Clyx’s internal technology stack and CRM. Highly organized, with strong follow-through and attention to the details that keep partnerships moving. Comfortable working autonomously and managing a varied workload without close oversight. Genuinely curious about community groups and spaces. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with regular in-office collaboration. The Nice to Haves... Experience in a people-facing or customer service role. Experience working within a CRM Strong written communicator who can craft outreach that doesn't feel like outreach. Compensation & Structure This is a full-time role with a salary of $55,000 to $80,000, depending on experience. We want people who grow with us and are excited to make a lasting impact.
