Yard Associate

Job Description Summary Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Porter / Yard Worker to manage the stationing and retrieval of equipment on the site, maintain written maintenance schedules, and inspect equipment before and after rentals, documenting any damage. Responsibilities Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property. Maintain written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary. Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred. Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective written and oral communication with customers. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. General mechanical aptitude. Safety focus. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs. Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required. Related Experience Porter Hostler, Yard Hand, Yard Jockey, Yard Spotter, Entry Level Mechanic, Mechanic Trainee, Construction Laborer, Washbay Attendant, Equipment Washer, Forklift Driver, Warehouse Worker.
