Anesthesiology, Lifestyle based Anesthesiologist position with minimal call Killington/Rutland, VT

Job Description

The Department of Anesthesiology of Rutland Regional Medical Center is looking for a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our group of five Anesthesiologists, and CAAs and CRNAs.   Our practice is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Rutland Regional is a level III-equivalent Trauma Center.  

The hospital is licensed for 144 beds.  Service area 85,000.

Cases include high volume Ortho, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, OB/GYN.  No heads/ hearts/ major vascular.

The culture of the practice is one of outstanding professionalism & mutual support.

Work-life balance is encouraged !  Limited with weekend call (Friday-Sunday).Most weekends are covered by a dedicated team. Weekday (Monday-Thursday) call is shared equally amongst the group with an average of 3-4 call days per month on call and your post-call day off. This will free you up to enjoy the four seasons of outdoor activity available at your doorstep. The Green Mountains of Central Vermont are an ideal environment for an active family to thrive and Vermont supports low student-to-teacher ratio, which nurtures an excellent education for school aged children.

We offer a generous base salary and signing/retention bonus with a total yearly compensation of $550k, with 10 weeks of paid vacation time.
