Minimum Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercise, functional training, balance activities, manual techniques, and patient education.
• Proven documentation skills and ability to monitor and communicate patient progress.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dedication to delivering patient-centered care and achieving positive outcomes.
• Candidates must agree to a two-year employment commitment in the offer letter or be subject to a pro-rated placement fee repayment clause.

Role Overview:

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, functional training, balance activities, manual techniques, and patient education.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Complete timely documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Use of Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to reduce documentation burden.
