- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
- Prepare reports and updates on procurement activities for management review.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving procurement-related issues with suppliers or internal teams.
The Successful Applicant A successful Buyer III should have:
- A strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving procurement processes.
- A competitive annual salary between $85,000 and $105,000 USD.
