About the Team

At Nutanix, you will be joining the Americas Professional Services team, a dynamic and diverse group of professionals spanning the USA, Canada, and LATAM regions. This team is characterized by its commitment to exceeding targets and maintaining impressive year-over-year growth through a strong focus on delivering positive customer outcomes. You will report to the Director of Services Sales, who is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging work culture. The work setup for this role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. However, we encourage a collaborative atmosphere, so occasional in-office attendance may be required as needed. Additionally, the position entails approximately 30% travel, providing opportunities to engage with clients and further develop your professional network while delivering top-notch services.

Your Role

  • Lead and mentor a section of the Americas Services Sales team, driving business development, forecasting, and overall sales performance.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

  • Oversee the growth, profitability, and efficiency of the Professional Services Group across all lines of business, including Consulting Services and Education.

  • Promote the adoption of Nutanix products and services by developing a deep understanding of all service offerings and corporate messaging.

  • Leverage executive presence to instill confidence in customers and partners regarding Nutanix's service delivery capabilities through effective communication.

  • Build a culture of excellence and accountability within the team, attracting top talent and inspiring performance in professional services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Achieve established goals for bookings and revenue growth, setting a track record of success in both individual and team performance within the first year.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven expertise in Professional Services Sales, particularly within hybrid multicloud and large enterprise environments.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

  • Exceptional relationship-building abilities with internal stakeholders and external clients, partners, and customers.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the partner ecosystem and government-related markets is a plus.

  • Experience in planning and managing large customer-facing programs and IT transformations.

  • Proficient in solution selling techniques with a focus on driving customer success and adoption.

  • Excellent communication skills with an executive presence to instill confidence in diverse audiences.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 195,600 and USD $ 326,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
