Experience: 2 years in an outpatient clinic setting, 1 year in OBGYN
MEDICAL ASSISTANT DIPLOMA FROM A DAPIP ACCREDITED PROGRAM
Certs: BLS ( AHA or ARC only)
Education : HS/GED
Flu Vaccine (no declinations/no exemptions)
Special Requirements: Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture. Secondary OBGYN Professional Knowledge and Skills
Administering Medication
Follow up phone calls
Review Lab Tests
Rooming Patients Work Settings
Adult Outpatient Clinic Laboratory Tests
Blood Glucose via Glucometer
Pregnancy
Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis Vital Signs
Height/Weight
Obtain Vital Signs Injections
Immunizations
Intramuscular Specimen Collection
Labeling of specimens
Urine - UA/Clean Catch
Vaginal
Venipuncture Clinic Specialties
OB/GYN Set Up and Assist with Procedures
Pap Smear Prepare for Exam
Record History/Medications/Allergies Office Duties
Telephone Triage Additional Skills
HARD STOP must have OB/GYN exp and 3/4 on venipunc
