Forta Health is clearing the path to quality healthcare. We continuously improve the patient journey and deliver personalized care by applying AI and machine learning. Our first care vertical is autism ABA therapy. Access is limited, delivery is fragmented, and families are left waiting. We are reinventing this model to provide early, high-quality access. With 1 in 36 children diagnosed with autism [CDC, 2023], the need has never been greater. We are seeking driven, innovative, and mission-aligned individuals to join us in transforming how neurodiverse families experience care. About the role: As a Physician Liaison, you will build Forta’s referral engine from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing trusted relationships with physicians, clinics, and healthcare systems, while also creating new referral channels and overcoming barriers to growth. We are looking for someone hungry, entrepreneurial, and motivated by impact — someone who thrives on activity, pursues new opportunities relentlessly, and takes ownership of turning referrals into families starting care. This is a chance to establish the foundation of Forta’s physician referral program and directly contribute to the company’s mission and growth. Key Responsibilities Referral Growth: Develop and manage a pipeline of physician referral sources (pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, developmental clinics) Increase referral volume by educating providers and their staff on Forta’s services and referral process Track referral activity, conversion, and account health in CRM systems Partner with intake and clinical operations to ensure smooth handoffs from referral to care initiation Relationship Building: Build and sustain long‑term, trusted partnerships with physician practices and healthcare systems Customize outreach strategies to fit regional needs and practice workflows Represent Forta at pediatric, hospital, and behavioral health industry events to expand visibility and referrals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales, physician liaison, referral development, or account management Strong understanding of physician referral patterns, pediatric and behavioral health networks, and care coordination Proven track record of driving measurable referral growth Excellent relationship management and communication skills Highly organized and self‑motivated, able to manage multiple territories/accounts Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to use applicable CRM tools to organize, monitor, and track accounts Willing to travel 20–30% to meet physicians, attend conferences, and support regional growth Mission‑driven, with a deep commitment to improving access to autism care Preferred Qualifications Proximity to key target markets is necessary to support in‑territory relationship building and growth Must be based in the Greenville metro areas (within a 30‑mile radius) Prior experience engaging pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, and PsyD/behavioral health providers Prior experience calling on pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, and PsyD/behavioral health providers Existing, active book of business with referral sources in relevant specialties is highly desirable Compensation and benefits: Base compensation: $60,000 Retirement: 401(k) with employer matching Health: Medical insurance (affordable plans + generous employer contribution), dental and vision insurance Tax‑Advantaged Accounts: HSA and FSA Protection: 100% employer‑paid life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability Family Support: Paid family leave for eligible employees Time Off: Unlimited paid time off Standard variable incentives apply in addition to base pay Includes a 90‑day ramp bonus* designed to reward early traction in the territory *Employees who generate 35+ Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) within their first 90 days will be eligible for a one‑time $5,000 performance bonus.
