This 13-week contract offers competitive pay and a chance to work in a culturally rich environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and developing treatment plans.Perform therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and daily function.Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient success.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license requiredMinimum of 1 year of PTA experience requiredStrong communication, organizational, and patient care skillsPreferred Skills:Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
