IMMEDIATE HIRE Handymen/ tradesmen National Travel

Job Description

Job Description

NO STRESS. WELL OILDED TEAM. Great Pay • Lots of Overtime • Per Diem • Nationwide Projects

IMPORTANT: This position requires approximately 40% out-of-state travel. Travel can include extended assignments throughout the U.S. You receive per diem while traveling, plenty of overtime opportunities, and the chance to work in some seriously interesting places.

NBCP Communications Systems is looking for a skilled handyman / construction technician who is good with tools, can fix things properly, and wants to be trained into a professional AV Installation Technician .

You do NOT need AV experience. We would rather hire someone with broad hands-on skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to figure things out.

Who We Want

Your background might be handyman work, remodeling, construction, facilities maintenance, carpentry, or another skilled trade.

We especially want someone experienced with:

• Drywall and wall repair
• Ceiling repair and modification
• Flooring repair and installation
• Carpentry and woodwork
• Mounting, drilling, cutting, anchoring, and fabrication
• General construction and finish work
• Using power tools and working from ladders
• Solving unexpected jobsite problems

If you're the person everyone calls because you can fix almost anything , we want to talk to you.

We'll Train You in AV

You will work alongside experienced technicians while learning to:

• Install large displays, projectors, video walls, cameras, and speakers
• Build and install equipment racks
• Pull and terminate low-voltage cable
• Install structured cabling and fiber
• Install AV equipment in walls and ceilings
• Read drawings and installation plans
• Test and troubleshoot systems
• Perform professional AV installation and commissioning

Your construction skills are valuable because AV installation frequently requires us to open, modify, repair, and professionally finish walls, floors, ceilings, millwork, and other building surfaces.

Why This Job Is Different

You can make good money. Competitive pay, lots of overtime opportunities, travel per diem, performance incentives, and annual bonus/profit sharing.

You get paid to travel. One month you might be working in Texas; the next project could take you across the country.

The jobs are not boring. Our teams work in everything from schools and universities to auditoriums, military installations, secure facilities, massive command centers, and other unusual environments most people will never get to work inside.

You build a real technical career. We provide company-paid training in AV, low voltage, fiber, communications systems, and related technologies.

What You Get

• Great pay
• Significant overtime opportunities
• Travel per diem
• Performance incentives
• Annual bonus / profit sharing
• Health plan
• 401(k)
• Paid time off
• Company-paid technical training
• Nationwide travel
• Advancement opportunities

What We Require

• Approximately 40% out-of-state travel
• 2+ years of strong hands-on construction, handyman, maintenance, or trade experience
• Good mechanical ability
• Professional-quality workmanship
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work above ceilings
• Reliable transportation and driver's license
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn AV and communications technology

The Person Who Will Do Well Here

You like building and fixing things , don't want to sit behind a desk, enjoy traveling, want overtime, and would rather work somewhere different and challenging than report to the same jobsite every morning.

Bring us your handyman and construction skills. We'll train you to become an AV technician—and give you the opportunity to make serious money while seeing a lot of the country.
