As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation, while working as part of a team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a professional aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry authorization in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with visitor processing and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing clear reports, maintaining post records, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
