MCC Family Services is hiring full-time Family Based Clinicians to serve children and families throughout Montgomery County.

This opportunity is open to both bachelor’s-level Counselors and master’s-level Therapists .

Family Based clinicians work in teams of two, consisting of a Therapist and Counselor, to provide intensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families. Services are primarily provided in clients’ homes and communities, allowing clinicians to work directly with families in the environments where support is needed most.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a two-person Family Based clinical team
• Provide intensive services to children, adolescents, and their families in the home and community
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with schools, providers, and community supports
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization when needed
• Complete timely clinical documentation
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development
• Complete MCC’s two-year training curriculum in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT)

Qualifications

Family Based Counselor

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or families

Family Based Therapist

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a behavioral health or social service setting

Requirements for Both Positions

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Availability to work approximately two to three evenings per week based on family schedules
• Ability to complete all required background clearances
• Ability to successfully complete a drug screen
