Find out today what a career with Pyramid Hotel Group at the Pullman Miami Airport can mean for you!What you will have an opportunity to do:Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping staff.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities for the hotel to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas.Inspect guest rooms, public areas and heart of the house for cleanliness.Train, motivate, coach, counsel and discipline staff members.Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program.Maintain the supplies and linen inventories.Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.What are we looking for?QUALIFICATIONS:Previous Hotel Housekeeping experience MANDATORYEngaging and caring personalityTime management skillsAbility to work on feet for an extended periodAbility to communicate effectively - English and SpanishAbility to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.Compensation:$19-$19Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
