JR Front End Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology

GDIT seeks a Junior UI Developer to join our team, providing dedicated support for the CCTE Division. The role involves front‑end web application development, QA testing using test cases, and Nuxt3 development supporting senior staff and EPA Federal teams. It is best suited for entry‑level to mid‑level developers comfortable with remote work and self‑direction. Responsibilities QA testing via test cases Nuxt3 development and coding primarily to support senior level staff and EPA Federal teams Create documentation for projects, bug fixes, etc., received from clients Communicate effectively to support customers and senior level developers to design, plan and refine large scale projects Work in Agile/Scrum environments that include stand‑ups, JIRA boards and 2‑week sprints Qualifications 1–3 years of related professional IT experience Front‑end technology stack: Vue.js, Nuxt, React, Next Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt and React/Next is preferred Ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of work with critical deadlines Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage equipment and services in remote locations Strong customer service orientation and organized workflow with high attention to detail Can‑do attitude, ability to work well under pressure Beneficial Experience working on Federal Sector Contracts Professional certifications Familiarity with DevOps, ITIL, and Agile processes Requirements US citizenship required Must be eligible to obtain EPA Public Trust Level 4 security clearance Salary The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 – $80,500. Salary is based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements and may fall outside of this range.
