About This Role
Kids Academy of Learning & Excellence is seeking a driven, creative, and results-focused Childcare Marketing Specialist to support enrollment growth, community visibility, parent engagement, and brand awareness. This role is ideal for someone who understands childcare marketing, local community outreach, social media, parent communication, and lead conversion. The primary goal of this position is simple: help increase inquiries, tours, enrollments, and community partnerships.The ideal candidate must be comfortable promoting a startup or growth-stage childcare center and should understand how to market to families with young children. This position requires someone who can create content, manage follow-up, build relationships, and turn interest into action.
What You'll Do Enrollment Marketing & Lead Generation- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase childcare enrollment.
- Promote available openings for infants, toddlers, preschool, Pre-K, before and after school care, summer camp, and enrichment programs.
- Create campaigns that drive parent inquiries, tours, applications, and enrollments.
- Track leads from social media, website inquiries, phone calls, community events, and referrals.
- Support follow-up with prospective families through calls, texts, emails, and tour reminders.
- Assist with enrollment promotions, open houses, and special events.
- Monitor lead conversion and recommend ways to improve tour-to-enrollment results.
- Build relationships with local pediatricians, churches, apartment communities, realtors, libraries, community centers, local businesses, and schools.
- Distribute flyers, enrollment packets, event invitations, and promotional materials.
- Identify community events where KALE can participate as a vendor, sponsor, or family resource.
- Support partnerships with employers, family service organizations, and local agencies.
- Help position KALE as a trusted childcare and early education resource in North Chesterfield and surrounding communities.
- Help plan and promote monthly family engagement events such as open houses, Family STEM Night, Story Time Saturdays, Parents Night Out, Kindergarten Readiness Workshops, and community resource events.
- Create event flyers, registration links, reminders, and follow-up messages.
- Capture event photos and testimonials for future marketing.
- Assist with parent communication before, during, and after events.
- Track weekly marketing activity, including posts, inquiries, tours scheduled, tours completed, enrollments, calls made, emails sent, and community contacts.
- Provide regular reports on what marketing efforts are working.
- Recommend adjustments based on parent response, engagement, and enrollment outcomes.
- Maintain an organized list of leads, outreach partners, and referral sources.
- Experience in marketing, communications, sales, enrollment, childcare administration, education, or community outreach.
- Strong writing skills for social media posts, emails, flyers, and parent communication.
- Comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Google Business Profile, and basic digital marketing tools.
- Ability to communicate professionally with parents, community partners, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
- Comfortable making phone calls, sending follow-up messages, and promoting enrollment opportunities.
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality, child privacy, and professional boundaries in a childcare setting.
- Must be dependable, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Prior experience marketing a childcare center, preschool, private school, summer camp, tutoring program, or family-focused business.
- Experience with enrollment growth, parent tours, lead follow-up, or admissions.
- Experience creating reels, short videos, flyers, and social media campaigns.
- Experience with Brightwheel, CRM tools, Google Workspace, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or email marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of childcare programs, early childhood education, kindergarten readiness, or family engagement.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate is creative, professional, organized, and not afraid to promote. This person understands that marketing a childcare center is about trust first. Families need to see safety, love, structure, learning, and consistency.
We are looking for someone who can help tell the KALE story in a way that brings families through the door and turns interest into enrollment.
The right person will be able to balance warmth with results. They should be able to create beautiful content, build local relationships, follow up with leads, and help the center grow.

Schedule may vary based on center needs, events, and campaign activity. Some evening or weekend availability may be required for open houses, community events, family engagement events, or special enrollment campaigns.
CompensationCompensation will be based on experience, schedule, and qualifications. Performance-based incentives may be available for qualified candidates who meet enrollment growth goals.
