Physician - Nocturnist - Chelsea/ Ann Arbor/ Livingston

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full Time (1.0 FTE) Nights
• Schedule:
• Each hospital is staffed overnight with teams of 2-5 physicians and 1-2 APPs, with overlapping coverage from .
  • Ann Arbor:
    • Three physicians provide coverage at Ann Arbor from .
  • Chelsea:
    • Independent coverage required at Chelsea and Livingston from
  • Livingston:
    • Independent coverage required at Chelsea and Livingston from
  • Location: Opportunity to select two of the three locations listed:
    • Chelsea Hospital
    • Trinity Health Ann Arbor
    • Trinity Health Livingston

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• State of Michigan License
• BLS and ACLS certified
• Hospitalist Medicine experience preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical night may include:

• Collaboration with other health care professionals in providing direct inpatient care
• Monitoring and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Respond to clinical changes and deteriorations
  • Livingston: Overseeing Code Blues
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate coding and billing compliance
• Complete up to 8 admissions in a shift
• Supervise APPs for admissions and cross coverage issues
