Quality Control Clerk

Job Purpose To maintain a high‑quality product by accurately running product boxes and accessories, etching the product with the correct etching program, pulling and scanning cover, verifying labels and accessories, and final acceptance of product. Key Tasks Maintain quality product by running correct boxes and accessories. Ensure inventory is at acceptable levels. Maintain the label printer and ensure proper etching program for each product. Pull and scan correct covers, verify labels, and complete final acceptance of product. Maintain scrap reports for packaging materials and accessories; report levels to ATL or manager. Verify labels are correct and product is ready for final acceptance. Complete work orders for each step; follow good manufacturing documentation practices. Communicate with Inventory and Packaging teams to keep operations efficient; segregate incomplete packaging products and diagnose failures for reporting and trend analysis. Secondary Job Results Maintain a safe and clean work environment by operating all machinery safely, reporting hazards, and complying with safety and quality policies. Maintain quality service by keeping error rates minimal, maintaining an efficient work pace, and meeting performance measurements (quantity, accuracy, timeliness, thoroughness). Contribute to team effort by filling in for other QA duties as needed and maintaining good attendance. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training. Your Background High school diploma or GED preferred; 0+ years prior relevant experience. Familiarity with printer, pallet jack, laser etcher, rolling ladder, and general office equipment. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
