Grants Manager

Behind every dollar of grant money we are awarded is a household that doesn't have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Help us bring in the funding that keeps our shelves stocked and our community supported. This role is key in bridging the gap between supporters and the DMARC Food Pantry Network of support. The full‑time Grants Manager will successfully secure and manage local, regional, and national grant support for DMARC’s mission of meeting the basic human needs of our neighbors in Greater Des Moines. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the grants process. Researching funding opportunities. Maintaining existing and creating new grant funding relationships; Writing and coordinating specific proposals that match DMARC’s needs with funding partner priorities; Sharing DMARC’s value proposition with funding partners and decision makers; conducting follow up to secure funding. Stewarding and keeping regular contact with funding partners; Reporting DMARC progress of initiatives that are funded; Assisting in post-award grant management (work with appropriate DMARC colleagues to monitor grant funds and track grants); and celebrating and sharing support publicly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
