HUB Controller-Americas __ Serving as a key partner for the local Operations P&L Manager of the Electrification Services division, you will be a vital member of its finance team in the United States. You will help to set business strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies. In this role you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. You will translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks and recommend actions. This position is open to remote candidates (#LI-Remote) located in the Western and/or Southern United States. The incumbent most be available to travel in these regions to support the business requirements and work closely with business leaders. Your responsibilities in this role:

The incumbent most be available to travel in these regions to support the business requirements and work closely with business leaders. Your responsibilities in this role:
- Contributes to the definition of the strategy for the South & West Field Service Regions as well as our DAC business. Serves as the key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy, and implementing actions as needed.
- Translates strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets. Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serves as the interface of the plant to Global Product Group Controller/Division Controller/Operational Manager and others.
- Monitors progress and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
- Manage work-in-process inventory, project job costing, oversee billing & revenue recognition process, lead past due receivable collections and customer disputes resolution. Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
- Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Leads the monthly closing process (journal entries / account reconciliations / intercompany billing, etc). Ensure controllership and consistency of accounting processes across the business.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields (some consideration for an Associate's Degree in Finance/Accounting with significant relevant experience will also be acceptable)
- 10 years of experience in a Financial Position, ideally partnering with business leaders, driving and assisting in a mix of financial analyst and accounting responsibilities
- Experience with ERP Systems required (SAP strongly preferred)
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask
- Driven, strong leadership, attention to detail, self-sufficient, and excellent customer service attitude
- Candidates must already possess work authorization to work for ABB in the US
