The facility features an 8-bed department with strong clinical infrastructure to support locum providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Urgent coverage needed for specified dates with 24-hour call only, 7a-7a schedule no clinic required
• Approximately 3 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active North Carolina medical license with a clean history to obtain emergency privileges
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 30-90 days
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Provide routine deliveries including vaginal delivery and decision-making for c-sections
• Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromotubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Physicians must document patient contact hours and call back hours with supporting notes on timesheet entries
• Telephone calls and medical record reviews are not considered on-site call back hours
• Nearest airport is Charlotte Regional Airport; lodging available at the Courtyard by Marriott Hickory ask for the Frye Rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
