Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Job Details Location: Encore Wire McKinney - McKinney, TX 75069 Shift: Full Time (12 hour shift, 6PM - 6AM Overnight Differential, Night shift, Overtime, Weekends as needed) Starting Pay: $20 an hour (+ $1.50 for 2nd Shift, + $2.00 for 3rd Shift) Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Moves or stacks different products or materials to specified locations in a safe manner Performs routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature of forklift equipment Stacks empty pallets, reels, etc. Complies with safety policies, practices and procedures according to OSHA Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or safety team Maintain consistent and reliable attendance Essential functions and responsibilities will also include following supervisor’s directions and the additional requirements of the various jobs assigned Qualifications Must be able to pass a driven forklift exam Must be willing to undergo an onsite drug screen 1 year of stand-up forklift experience required Experience moving large loads Reliable attendance Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures Some duties may be required to be performed outside Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching, and stooping Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance On-site clinic for employee and family use Chaplain services 401(k) matching Vacation time Employee Health Fair Company-wide cookouts Schedule 12 hour shift Night shift Overtime Weekends as needed Experience Stand‑Up Forklift: 1 year (Required) Maneuvering wide loads: 1 year (Preferred) NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
