Research, write, and present stories that are accurate, engaging, and relevant to the Tri-Cities community
Maintain an active and professional social media presence to build your brand, promote stories, and connect with viewers
Collaborate with producers, photographers, assignment editors, and the newsroom team to deliver high-quality coverage
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during breaking news or severe weather
Perform other duties as assigned by news management

Qualifications & Skills:
Previous anchoring experience is required
At least one year of on-air reporting experience is required

Strong writing, verbal communication, and on-camera presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to develop stories and tell them creatively across platforms
Sound editorial judgment, strong research skills, and a commitment to journalistic ethics
Ability to work independently while contributing positively in a collaborative newsroom environment
A valid driver's license and good driving record are required

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16.50 to $19.37.
