We're looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and learning new technologies. This is more than a traditional helpdesk position. You'll support the technology that keeps our organization running while gaining hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, cloud administration, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and emerging AI tools. You'll work closely with our IT leadership and software engineering team, building practical technical skills while helping employees work securely and efficiently. For someone early in their IT career, this is an opportunity to develop a broad technical foundation and grow toward systems administration, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or IT operations. KEEP OUR PEOPLE CONNECTED AND PRODUCTIVE

You'll be a trusted resource for employees across the organization, helping resolve everyday technical challenges and ensuring our systems work as intended. Your responsibilities will include: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and basic networking issues.

Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows laptops and employee devices.

Assist employees with password resets, multifactor authentication, and account access.

Support new-hire technology onboarding and employee offboarding.

Troubleshoot technical issues with professionalism, patience, and a customer-service mindset.

SUPPORT OUR MICROSOFT CLOUD ENVIRONMENT

You'll gain practical experience managing the systems and tools that support our business. Create, update, and disable employee accounts using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.

Assist with Microsoft 365 licensing, security groups, shared mailboxes, and user permissions.

Support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune.

Help deploy software, manage endpoint policies, and maintain device compliance.

Partner with IT leadership to identify vulnerabilities, enforce security policies, and resolve technical issues.

HELP PROTECT WHAT MATTERS

In a business serving private wealth clients, information security and confidentiality are essential. You'll help maintain a secure technology environment by: Processing access requests in accordance with company security policies.

Supporting cybersecurity awareness and phishing prevention initiatives.

Assisting with SOC 2 documentation, evidence collection, and audit preparation.

Maintaining accurate technology inventories, standard operating procedures, and IT documentation.

Helping ensure employees have appropriate, secure access to the tools they need.

EXPLORE AI AND AUTOMATION

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in developing their skills. 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Windows environments.

Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach.

Ability to manage competing priorities, follow established processes, and maintain confidentiality.

Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take ownership of your work.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE

The following experience would be valuable but is not required: Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, Defender, or Azure.

Cybersecurity best practices or SOC 2 compliance.

Microsoft technical certifications, including Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Modern Desktop Administrator.

Exposure to AI tools, automation, or cloud-based business systems.
