Temp Seasonal - Waste To Energy Grounds Laborer

The City of Spokane invites applications for the position of Temp Seasonal - Waste To Energy Grounds Laborer. This position will work under the direction of the Operations Superintendent or their designated representative. All uniforms, PPE, tools, and necessary equipment will be provided by the City of Spokane Waste To Energy (WTE) Department. This position will require a pre-hire physical and subsequent inclusion in the WTE medical surveillance program.

• Litter control.
• Vegetation trimming.
• General indoor and outdoor cleaning.
• General painting.
• General labor.
• Related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be physically able to stand/stoop/bend/lift/walk around the facility for the entire shift.
• Enough manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
• Tolerance of work under adverse conditions such as outdoors in heat and cold.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
