Job Description
Travel CCU/MICU RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Pennslyvania. PA license must be active to be considered. Shifts are 12 hour evenings and nights, with every other weekend. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required. 2 years of Medical MICU/Critical Care experience is required. MSICU is a 10 bed ICU with the primary focus on the critically ill medical patient. Our primary patient population/disease management scope of care includes sepsis, pulmonary disease, strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic including subarachnoid bleed requiring medical and/or endovascular intervention such as TPA and ventricular drains, coils, or stents), GI bleed and/or kidney failure. While medical management is our focus, we do manage our patients who require a surgical intervention. Nicotine free is required. Candidates will be required to pass an EKG test and be able to interpret ECG rhythm strips for this assignment. There is more information attached to the job description. They will be tested during orientation and will not be able to stay on this assignment if these tests are not passed. They will have one chance to pass this testing. Unit Description
Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a perm hire at any Wellspan site within the last year.
You must confirm your traveler is Nicotine Free. Nicotine Testing is required prior to start and your traveler will be canceled and not welcome back for 12 months if there is a positive result. Your agency's participation in the WellSpan locations may also be jeopardized.
WellSpan Requires the Flu Vaccine from October 1 - April 30. Flu declination's are not accepted. Please ensure your traveler is willing to obtain prior to submitting.
