Project Controls Specialist - Houston or Austin

Overview The Project Controls Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. This position works closely with Project Managers and the finance team to track project performance, manage budgets, and mitigate risks. Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues. Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Financial Management: Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and forecasts. Manage change orders and contract modifications. Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular project reports and key performance indicators. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support financial closeout processes. ERP and Systems: Utilize ERP systems to manage project data and workflows. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success. Provide financial guidance and support to project teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Math, or another related field of study; Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record. Entry-level role; 1-3 years of experience.
