Class A or B CDL Operator – HPC Industrial HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-conscious team. The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all service lines. This role involves supervising and completing single-task jobs with one crew, and performing turnarounds under management oversight at client sites in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands‑on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions. Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, ultra high‑pressure pumps, pumping equipment, vacuum trucks, cutting equipment and other specialized hydroblasting and chemical cleaning equipment. Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications. Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job. Operate liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders. May lead a crew of vacuum technicians. Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations. Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, driver’s logs and comply with all other vehicle policies and DOT requirements. Load and unload hoses, unload vacuum trucks at the dump site, and provide general field maintenance. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training and essential experience gained on other jobs. Language proficiency: understand English to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations. Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B and compliance with company driving policy. Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device. Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required. Knowledgeable in operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers. Experience operating a vacuum truck. Working knowledge of equipment used in wet and dry vacuums. Able to lift 50 lbs. and up. High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Class A or B CDL License required. Tanker Endorsement required. TWIC required. Hydroblasting experience preferred.
