Insurance Property Inspector (1099) Location: East Saint Louis, IL Hourly rate: $20–$28 per billable hour Schedule: 7 AM–4 PM, 8 AM–5 PM, or 9 AM–5 PM (flexible weekday hours), 1099 independent contractor. Job Type: Remote, independent, field-based schedule.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Conduct on-site inspections of homes and businesses, capturing detailed photographs and documenting key features that matter to underwriting decisions. Assess conditions, identify potential hazards or concerns, and gather accurate data to tell the full story. Compile thorough, high-quality underwriting survey reports ensuring every detail supports informed risk evaluation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties. Capture detailed photographs and measurements. Identify and document hazards, conditions, and improvements. Compile and submit underwriting survey reports. Manage your own schedule and dispatch requirements from home.
